Just connected the new ST-Link/V2 and it works The red led is lightening, not blinking. However, the ST-Link does not connect to any of my devices. Hi Jeff, the device Manager in Windows 10 shows now an additional point 'USB-Devices' - 'STM32 STLink'. Commonly referred to as interface firmware, DAPLink runs on a secondary MCU that is attached to the SWD or JTAG port of the application MCU. Im trying to use a ST-Link/V2 to program a STM32F4 device on my Lenovo E470 with the ST-Link Util. It will show up as MSP-EXP430F5438 USB - Serial Port(COM x), Tiva Virtual COM Port (COM x), XDS110 Class Application/User UART (COM x) for MSP432, under Ports (COM & LPT) in the Device manager.' Arm Mbed DAPLink is an open-source software project that enables programming and debugging application software on running on Arm Cortex CPUs. Once connected, wait for the driver to install. In the API's demo example says that 'Once the code is flashed, connect the board to a PC using a miniUSB or microUSB cable. I install the driver that ST brings which is STSW-009, to program via miniUSB, but it only flashed the code into the board it doesn't open any COM port when I plugged the miniUSB again or the micro-usb to the PC and reset the board. I read the API documentacion, 'Enable_STM32_Discovery.pdf' and make all the changes that I've to. Unplug/replug the board while you are in device manager. Check the windows 10 device manager: Under USB-devices a STM32 STLink should be visible. It took a colleague of mine some time to find a short in a USB-cable. I've read and watched a lot of things to try and figure out, and everything I've found either completely skips over any issues with this (so presumably it isn't a normal issue) or they dive into writing custom INF, disabling Secure Boot, or other relatively extreme measures.I am using de STM32DiscoveryF4 in my project and the CC2564MODN bluetooth module with the adapter kit to make a bluetooth serial port profile with the API's that TI brings (SPPLE), but once the code is flashed and the board programmed I can't make the COM port appear, even connecting the micro-usb to the PC too. Change the USB-cable with a known working one Even USB-cables get defect. I am a beginner in this space, so please let me know if I'm doing something dumb. The pre-loaded blinky program does work as well. The board is the F091RC, although I am not sure that's relevant to my issues. Also, if I open a project on the mbed IDE while the nucleo is plugged in, the board does get recognized. Needless to say, if I try to run a program form the Cube IDE, I get a "No-ST-Link Detected" message. When I open the properties on the ST-Link device, it (obviously) says that the drivers are not installed. When I plug in my nucleo board, this is what I see in the device manager: Here is the output I see when I try to run the installation batch file from the stsw-link009 download: I have been trying various methods of installing the ST-Link USB drivers on my Windows 11 Laptop, with absolutely no success. ![]()
